Profile Description
Mo Hammoud, DO is part of our Health First team. He is a general surgeon. Dr. Hammoud is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. In addition to serving the country in the Iraq war, he was also stationed in Saudi Arabia and South Korea where he served as a Military Police Officer. Dr. Hammoud earned an Associate degree in arts and criminal justice and was a private investigator at Asset Control Services in West Bloomfield, MI. After completing his military service, Dr. Hammoud earned a Bachelor of Arts in biological sciences at University of Michigan and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Michigan State University. He completed his general surgery internship and residency at Beaumont Hospital, a level 2 trauma center in Farmington Hills, MI. He is basic life support, advanced cardiac life support and advanced trauma life support certified. He is also Stop the Bleed instructor certified.
