Dr. Michael R. Bisogno is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the treatment of hip
and knee arthritis as well as painful existing hip and knee replacements. When possible, conservative,
non-operative treatments are utilized by Dr. Bisogno to minimize the need for surgery. If the patient
and Dr. Bisogno feel surgery is indicated, multiple approaches and technologies can be utilized to
create a patient-specific treatment plan. Dr. Bisogno is trained in minimally invasive direct anterior,
posterior, and lateral approaches for hip replacements. Depending on patient’s needs, knee
arthroscopy, partial knee replacements, or total knee replacements can be employed to ensure a rapid
and complete recovery.
